TYR Sport is an American manufacturer of competitive swim and triathlon apparel and gear. The company also focuses on water polo, aquatic fitness and, recreational swimming. TYR was founded in 1985 in Huntington Beach, CA, by current owner Joseph DiLorenz and 1972 Olympic Bronze Medalist Steve Furniss.
